Ian Somerhalder was born on December 8th, 1978. He used to be an american model since he was ten years old. At the age of thirteen he decided to be an actor and producer, best known for playing Damon Salvatore in the TV drama The Vampire Diaries, and Boone Carlyle in the TV drama Lost.
